RIGHT NOW answers one question: what is happening on Earth right now? It is a map and a handful of numbers, with no account to create and nothing to sign up for.
What this is not
It is not a news site. Nothing here is scraped and no article text or imagery is reproduced. The one place headlines appear, they come from an openly licensed news index, are shown as a title and a link, and every one of them sends you to the publisher who wrote it. Every other value comes from a data source whose licence has been read and recorded.
Where the data comes from
11 sources are in use. Another 9 were researched and deliberately excluded, either because their terms forbid commercial use or because their terms could not be verified at all. Both lists are public.
What it does not promise
Data is provided by external sources and may be delayed, estimated or incomplete. This is not an official or emergency information service, and there is no guarantee of accuracy, availability or real-time delivery. For emergencies, always follow your local official sources.
Privacy
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. Requests to data providers are made by our server, so your IP address is never sent to them.
